Please ensure you have reviewed some of the core expectations within the in-game Field Manual. The pilot license testing is part of Integrity Gaming’s Vehicle Restriction System which is currently used in our Insurgency gamemode and servers for Arma Reforger.

This new application and test will help us better improve the requests and process, as well as ensure a fair standard for pilots until a more in-depth system that involves training, as well as knowledge and practical flying tests through a custom mission, is fully released in-game.

This test will require some very basic aeronautical knowledge, including knowledge of standard flight instruments, flight dynamics, traffic pattern information, etc. These are very basic and are easily researched. It will also test you on your knowledge of our general conduct rules as this privilege is only granted to those who have a full understanding and respect for our rules. It will also include knowledge about game mechanics and gameplay rules related to the Insurgency gamemode.

You may wonder why some of these requirements matter. Not all are critical on their own—but this test serves an important filtering purpose. It ensures that players are willing to put in the time and effort to review the Field Manual, take notes, and engage with in-game information. Many players pass with a perfect score, and that helps us manage pilot access while we continue building systems that ensure fairness in flight time distribution. We absolutely need new pilots—but until more controls are in place, we must be cautious about onboarding too many too quickly.
